What to include

Why it is illegal. Explain which law or right it breaks, in enough detail for us to see it without further research.
Where it is. The exact location: a URL, a share link, or the project and file name. Add a screenshot if it helps.
Your name and email. You may leave these out if the report is about child sexual abuse material.
A good-faith statement. Confirm that you believe, in good faith, that the information in your report is accurate and complete.

Copyright

For a copyright or other intellectual property claim, also name the work that is being infringed and your relation to it: rights holder, or acting on their behalf. If you act for someone else, say who.

What happens next

We confirm we received your report, look at it without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge that decision. A person decides every report; we do not use automated decisions.

If we remove or restrict content, we tell the person who posted it why. Both of you can ask for a review from the link in our decision email, for six months, and a person looks at it again. Reports of child sexual abuse material go straight to a moderator, and we report that material to the authorities.
